Whitening (dental bleaching)

Whitening (dental bleaching)

Whitening in the clinic

Teeth whitening at the dentist's office is a scientifically proven, controlled, and safe method of improving the color of your teeth. The procedure is performed exclusively by a dentist, using high-concentration whitening agents, mainly hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide. The whitening agent is activated using a special LED lamp. This method is ideal for patients who want immediate results under strict professional supervision.

Whitening at home

Home whitening under the guidance of a dentist is equally effective, but a more gradual method. The dentist takes an impression of the dental arches and makes customised trays, into which a lower concentration of whitening gel is placed. The patient wears the trays daily for a certain period of time (usually 10–14 days), following specific instructions for use. This process allows for greater control over the intensity of the result and is often more tolerable for those with increased tooth sensitivity. In many cases, combining the two methods gives the best results: initial whitening at the dentist's office for immediate color improvement, and continuation or maintenance at home to stabilize and maintain the results long-term.
