X-ray

Panoramic X-ray

Panoramic radiography (Orthopantomogram – OPG) is an extraoral imaging examination that provides a comprehensive view of the upper and lower jaws, dental arches, sinuses, and temporomandibular joints. It is a valuable tool for general dental check-ups, orthodontic diagnosis, locating impacted teeth, and preoperative planning for implants or extractions.

Lateral cephalometric X‑ray

Lateral cephalometric X-ray is an extraoral imaging examination that captures the craniofacial complex in lateral projection. It provides information about the bone and dental relationships of the jaws, the position of the teeth, and the profile of the soft tissues. It is mainly used in orthodontic analysis and in the planning or monitoring of therapeutic interventions.

Periapical X-ray

A periapical X-ray is an intraoral diagnostic image that accurately depicts one or more teeth in their entirety, from the crown to the root tip, as well as the surrounding alveolar bone. It is used to detect carious lesions, periapical lesions, fractures, and to evaluate endodontic treatments or periodontal conditions.
